The NCC Wing of the college has 2 very active units of ARMY NCC with a strength of 107 cadets on its roll. The NCC [National cadet Corps] with the motto of 'Unity + Discipline' is a vibrant organisation which carries out the important task of moulding youth into motivated and disciplined citizens. The corps achieves this by providing multi-faceted avenues for indoor and outdoor activities , and by inculcating a sense of patriotism , adventure and motivation amongst its cadets. The NCC wing of DAV college for Girls , has always been moving steadly towards this destination since its inception[1958]. The cadets are given rigorous practical as well as theoretical training within and outside the college.
